LOVE YOUR HERITAGE
A passion project from Bill Ngo of KRU Contemporary Japanese Restaurant, Fish Face Poke Bar and Kodaiko Ramen & Bar, Chu Mai is inspired by Bill's late mother, Mai Chu, and the flavors and cuisine that 1st and 2nd generation Asian Americans grew up on. We want to offer the Sacramento area and beyond a place to celebrate life, family, and traditions through food, drink, and hospitality.
Along with partner Michael Ng (a veteran of the front-of-the-house), we will feature thoughtful cuisine with Asian and Southeast Asian flavors served in a warm and contemporary space.
